Smoked Turkey


  • 10-12 Pounds Turkey
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • ½ cup Dry Rub


Prepare smoker or grill to 250-275 degrees. Soak hickory or apple wood ahead of time.
Remove giblets and rinse turkey. Coat thawed turkey with olive oil
Cover entire turkey with dry rub.
Dry Rub:
1 tablesppon each, paprika,garlic powder,lemon pepper,onion powder, seasoning salt.
1 teaspoon black pepper and red pepper
Place turkey on smoker and add wood chips to charcole.
Smoke tureky until meat thermoter reads 165 degrees. Should take a minimum of 6 hours.
