Barbeque Sauce (Uncle James)

This recipe makes 1 gallon of sauce. It can also be with the dry rub lsited below. Dry Rub: (Equal portion of all spices, keeps for months in frig.) Garlic salt Onion powder Chili powder Celery salt Black pepper Paprika Red pepper


  • 3 Whole Lemons (squeezed)
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Quart Worcestshire Sauce
  • ½ Gallon Catsup
  • 1 Quart Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 4oz Mustard
  • 1 cup Onion (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup Texas Pete


  • 1 can Beer (12oz)


Mix all ingredients well and simmer for one hour over low heat.
