Crockpot Beef Stew


  • 2lb Beef Stew Meat (You may need to cut some of the pieces in half.)
  • 4 tablespoons Flour
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 Carrots (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 1 Large Bell Pepper (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 6 Medium Red Potatoes (cut in half)
  • 1 Package Button Mushrooms
  • 1 packet Onion Soup mix
  • 1 clove Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere‚Äôs Seasoning
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • Salt and Pepper (To taste)


Mix seasoning, salt and pepper and flour together in a zip lock bag. Add stew meat and shake till meat is covered.
Brown meat in heavy skillet using olive oil and add to Crock-pot. Add vegetables layering across meat.
Add Onion soup mix to chicken broth and mix. Pour over meat and veggies.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender. This is a all in one meal.
