Beef Kabobs

Beef Kabobs

Meal type Main Dish

  • 1lb Sirloin steak (Cut into 1½" cubes)
  • 1 Bell Pepper (Cut into 1" squares)
  • 8oz Button mushrooms (Stems removed)
  • 1 Onion (Cut onion into wedges. Any type onion will do. I like sweet onions.)
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (non-creamy)
  • Salt and Pepper (To taste)

  • Tomatoes

Cut Sirloin, chicken or pork into cubes.
Cut bell pepper into squares. (Any color Bell pepper is good for the recipe in fact buy two kinds and mix.)
Alternate putting ingredients on skewers. If using wooden skewers soak in water for a couple of hours first.
Place Kabobs on platter and baste with dressing and lightly salt and pepper. Put in refrigerator while preparing grill.
I like to cook Kabobs indirectly on high heat. Shouldn’t take more than 10-12 minutes.
If using tomatoes, I put them on a separate skewer because they only take about 5 minutes.
This recipe goes well with oven roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes.
145°F internal temperature (medium rare)
160°F internal temperature (medium)
170°F internal temperature (well done)
